IAAI Alternate or Substitute Course Vetting Application

Intended for the vetting and review of training courses for certification not already outlined by the IAAI Certifications Committee and Training and Education Committee.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
- A current list of pre-approved (non-IAAI) courses can be found here: https://www.firearson.com/credentials/approved-courses/
- Elligible core curriculum courses eligible for submission are: fundamentals in fire investigation, marine fire investigation, motor vehicle fire investigation, expert witness courtroom testimony.
- In order to complete this application, you must be either the host agency, course coordinator, or instructor responsible for delivery of the course.
- Applications shall be submitted a minimum of 30 days prior to the course start date.
- An application must be submitted for each course and course date requested.
- Payment for this application is required in order for the application to be considered. If this application is not approved, please note the IAAI will not issue refunds.
- The pricing structure is as follows:
  $50 for 0.50 – 2.50 hours of credit
  
  $75 for 2.75 – 5.00 hours of credit
  
  $100 for 5.25 – 10.00 hours of credit
  
  $150 for 10.25 or more hours of credit
A link for payment will be emailed to you after you submitting your application. Please be sure to pay the appropriate fee based on the hours of credit for which you are applying. Applications will not be processed until payment has been received by IAAI.
